FLASHBACK: Mayne and Eva in the 90s

Here's a flashback of Mayne and Eva as teenagers:

Mayne is holding a guitar pick with the letters 'G + E' on them. He hides it in his fist as he goes to approach Eva and pokes her to get her attention.

Mayne(poking her):Hey, Mermaid Lips!

Eva: Stop calling me that! Why are you poking me?

Mayne: What, I can't say hi?

Eva(moving his hand from her face): Not the way you do it! Why are you here anyway?

Mayne(now nervous): Well, I-uh...

Eva: Tell me..

Mayne: I-I wanted to say...that...(now back to himself) you're a freckled faced fairy, who's too smart for her own good and will scare off any guy that comes to you!

Eva: WHAT?! (now frustrated) Are you ever going to grow up?! You're such a jerk! (she leaves)

Mayne(sighing after what he just did): Oh crap! I did it again! Why I can't I just tell her already?
